WHY USE IT?

Quite simply it reduces the amount of power draw from your battery, so you don't have to recharge your batteries as often. Perfect for canal boats without hook up, and caravans involved in wild camping. (If it gets really wild please invite us).

For example you can run one 10 Watt halogen bulb, or four 12-dot SMDs for the same draw from the batteries.

You can run one of the old 20 Watt bus bulbs, or 13 of the new SMD/LED bus bulbs and use slightly less power.

You can run one 8 Watt fluorescent tube, or eight flexible SMD strips for the same power.
