INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLING SMD/LED TUBES

in the place of fluorescent tubes

IMPORTANT NOTE: fluorescent tubes require ballast to work but LEDS do not. When converting to LED YOU MUST BYPASS THE BALLAST IN YOUR LIGHT FITTING before connecting up your LED tube.

ISOLATE THE POWER AT THE BATTERY before starting.

You may be able to use the original end caps from your light fitting, if not you can buy new ones when you purchase your SMD/LED tube. Find where the wiring comes in to your light fitting and connect direct to the SMD/LED tube using the end caps. (Remember to connect to the positive wire via the switch). Negative to one end cap and positive to the other. It doesn't matter which end is + and which end is -. Check to make sure your connections are good.
