WHY USE IT?

Quite simply it reduces the amount of power draw from your battery, so you don't have to recharge your batteries as often. Perfect for canal boats without hook up, and motorhomes involved in wild camping. (If it gets really wild please invite us).

For example you can run one 10 Watt halogen bulb, or four 12-dot SMDs for the same draw from the batteries.

You can run one of the old 20 Watt bus bulbs, or 13 of the new SMD/LED bus bulbs and still use slightly less power.

You can run two 8 Watt fluorescent tubes, or one T5 SMD/LED tube and use less than 1/5th of the power.
