HOME (is where the boat is)
I fitted my boat out with LED lighting, but the good products were hard to find, hence this website.
Currently iced in on the Leeds and Liverpool canal top pound. If you're in this area and would like to see the LED/SMDs please contact me . I'll bring the 12v lead lamp arrangement which plugs into a cigarette lighter socket, and show you the effect you would get in-situ on your own boat.
A bit about Baddie the Pirate
I took to the water as a liveaboard narrowboater about 5 years ago.
I can thoroughly recommend it, though I realise it wouldn't suit everyone. I was a backpacker in my younger days, and this is really a grown up version of that. Nothing beats waking up in the morning with the sun streaming in, and when you look out of the porthole a family of swans are swimming past. Of course it's not always like that. There are challenges (such as leaks and getting out of bed when you have the flu to make sure the fire has been stoked).
Why the name? I fly a jolly roger at the front of the boat. It's not a fashion accessory, it tells me what the wind direction is 50ft ahead of me. Useful info when you're steering.
I also make mosaics, play folk music and like knitting.
Pretty good for a Baddie really.
